Injector Kanaclox

Composition:
Each injector of 10 ml contains:
500 mg cloxacillin benzathine
100 mg kanamycin sulphate
Action:
Cloxacillin is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic with bactericidal activity against Staphylococcus (also against penicillin-
resistant Staphylococcus), Streptococcus, C. pyogenes, E. coli and other Gram-negative bacteria in the udder.
Kanamycin is active against Enterobacteriaceae (E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus), Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and others.
Indication:
Prevention and treatment of mastitis, during dry period, due to unknown organisms, or when presence is expected of both Streptococci
and Staphylococci and/or E. coli.
Advised withdrawal times:
meat: 28 days
milk: 4 days
If dry period is considerably less than 6 weeks, antibiotic residues may still be found in the milk.
Administration/dosage:
Clean and disinfect the nipple, one injector per quarter, in the beginning of the dry period.
Conservation:
Dry, cool (8-15°c), protected from light.
Presentation:
4 injectors per carton box.
