Triamcinolone acetonide 0.6%

Composition:
Each ml suspension contains:
6 mg triamcinolone acetonide.
Action:
Triamcinolone acetonide is a highly potent synthetic glucocorticoid with marked anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-pruritic effects.
Indications:
For the treatment of inflammation and related disorders in dogs, cats and horses, also indicated for management and treatment of acute
arthritis, allergic and dermatologic disorders.
Administration/dosages:
By intramuscular, subcutaneous or intra-articular injection.
Dogs, cats : 0.1- 0.2 mg per kg body weight (im);
Horses : 12-20 mg per animal;
In case of intra-articular Administration:
dogs, cats : 1-3 mg
horses : 6-18 mg per animal
Contra-Indications:
Diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, existing local or systemic viral infections, pregnancy.
Side-effects:
As with any corticosteroid, polydipsia or polyuria and other adverse reactions may occur.
Conservation:
At room temperature (15-25°C), protected from light.
Presentation:
Per 12 vials of 50 ml.
