Phenylbutazone 20%

Composition:
Each ml contains:
200 mg phenylbutazone.
Indications:
Phenylbutazone has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activities. In horses, cattle, pigs and dogs, it is used in case of arthritis,
tendinitis, rheumatism, thermoplegia, hyperthermy, or inflammatory complications in case of microbial or viral infections.
Contra-Indications:
Heart, kidney and liver insufficiencies.
Administration/dosage:
Intravenous or deep intramuscular injection:
Horses, cattle : iv : 20 ml daily or every second day
: im : 20-30 ml first day, 20 ml 2nd day, thereafter 10 ml for 1-4 days
Foal, calves : 6-10 ml iv or im, if necessary repeat after 24-48 h
Dogs : 1 ml/15 kg b.w. im or iv
Inject slowly.
Advised withdrawal times:
milk : iv 12 hours
: im 24 hours
meat : 1 day.
Conservation:
At room temperature (15-25°C), protected from light.
Presentation:
Per 12 vials of 100 ml.
