Ketatroxyl

Composition:
Each ml solution contains:
60 mg ketamine (as HCl);
2 mg xylazine (as HCl);
0.4 mg atropine (as sulphate).
Action:
The combination of ketamine, xylazine and atropine is used to induce anaesthesia in the cat by parenteral administration. Ketamine is a
quick acting general anaesthetic.
Xylazine is a potent alfa-2-adrenergic agonist and produces skeletal muscle relaxation.
The combination with ketamine prolongs duration of analgesia, reduces the dose of ketamine required and shortens recovery.
Atropine prevents salivation and other autonomic nervous effects.

cleaning, opening of abscesses.
