Tylosin 10%


Composition:
Each gram of contains:
100 mg tylosin base (as tartrate)
Action:
Macrolide with broad spectrum, active mainly against Gram-positive bacteria, Mycoplasma (PPLO), Actinomyces, some Spirochaetes
such as Treponema hyodysenterica, Haemophilus, Erysipelothrix insidosa, Corynebacterium diphteriae, Vibrio coli, Moraxella bovis,
Listeria monocytogenes, Bacteroides, Fusobacterium. Tylosin 10% is very well distributed everywhere in the body, except possibly in
the brain.
Indications:
Respiratory infections, dysentery caused by Vibrio in piglets, cystitis, Mycoplasma (pneumonia, CRD, arthritis, polyserositis).
Administration/dosage:
Administer in the drinking water.
Poultry : 550-600 g/100 l of drinking water for 2-3 days.
Turkeys up to 10 weeks: 550-600 g/100 l of drinking water for 2-3 days
over 10 weeks: 300 g/100 l of drinking water.
Pig : 2.5-5 g per 10 l of drinking water.
Advised withdrawal times:
meat : 7 days.
eggs : 7 days
