Finiworm

Composition:
Each gram of contains:
650 mg Piperazine diHCl
Action:
Broad spectrum dewormer, highly effective against all stages of roundworms (Ascaris) in horses, pigs and poultry. Also active against
nodular worms in pigs and ruminants (Oesophagostonum) and Oxyuris and Trichonema in horses. Partially active on Strongylus
vulgaris in horses and Nematodirus and Cooperia in ruminants.
Finiworm paralyzes Ascaris worms in the intestines, which are then expelled by peristalsis. Since migrating larvae are not affected, a
second dose after one week is recommended. In case of lung infections migrating larvae are however eliminated right from the first
dose.
Finiworm is very safe and almost non-toxic, even in high doses.
Indications:
Finiworm is indicated against Ascaris and Capillaria in poultry and pigeons; Strongylosis and oxyurosis in rabbits and horses; Ascaris in
horses; Ascaris, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Cooperia and Oesophagostonum in cattle; Oesophagostonum and Ascaris in pigs; and
hookworms in dogs and cats.
Administration/dosage:
-Cattle, horses : 1.5 g per 10 kg of b.w. (max. 60 g)
-Sheep, goats : 3-6 g per 10 kg of b.w.
-Pigs : 0.75 g per 10 kg of b.w. for 3 days.
-Poultry : 100 g per 80 l of drinking water for 2 days.
Advised withdrawal times:
meat : 2 days
eggs : 2 days
