Composition:
Each gram of contain:
200 mg Erythromycin thiocyanate
Action and Indications:
Bacteriostatic antibiotic with similar spectrum as benzylpenicillin. The drug of choice in case of infections with Mycoplasma
pneumoniae, M. gallinarum, Haemophilus influenzae and Doyle dysentery. Indicated against infectious coryza, infectious sinusitis, fowl
cholera. Erysipelas in turkeys. Erythromycin is quickly absorbed into the respiratory system and is therefore indicated against
respiratory diseases (CRD, Mycoplasma and Pasteurella infections).
Administration/dosage:
Curative:
Mix 100 g in 1 l of lukewarm water; bring this mixture in 75-150 l of drinking water. Treat for 3-5 days.
Preventative:
Apply half dosage as prescribed for curative treatment.
Advised withdrawal times:
Eggs : 7 days.
Meat : 7 days.
Conservation:
Dry, dark and cool.
