Amitix

Composition:
Each ml contains:
125 mg amitraz.
Indications :
Very effective and quick acting insecticide and acaricide, active against ticks, mange, mites, lice etc on cattle, goats, sheep, camels,
dogs, etc. Active against strains of ticks resistant to other acaricides like diazinon. Active against Varroa jacobsoni on honeybees.
Administration/dosage:
For cattle and camels: add 1.5 - 2 ml of Amitix per liter of water to be applied as dip or spray.
Sheep, goats, dogs : add 1.5 - 4 ml per liter of water.
Repeat treatment once weekly or every 2 weeks. Replenishment quantity for dipping tanks : 2.5 - 3.0 liters per 1,000 liters.
Precautions:
Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Wear protective clothing when handling, and avoid contact with product or spray mist.
Toxic to fish: do not pour into ponds or rivers.
In case of eye contact: rinse with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes.
In case of intoxication bradycardia, hypotension, sedation, vomiting, local anaesthesia may occur 1-5 hours after administration.
Antidote: Yohimbine
Gentle gastric lavage is recommended, provided patient is conscious and respiratory tract are protected.
Warning:
do not use on horses.
Conservation:
Store dry, dark and cool in original unopened packing.
