Pruritex

  Composition:
Each gram of perfumed emulsion contains:
1,500 IU kanamycin (as sulphate)
0.1 mg dexamethasone
0.4 mg mepyramine maleate
5 mg undecylenic acid
25 mg zinc oxide
Action:
Kanamycin is an antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as penicillin resistant
Staphylococci. Dexamethasone, a synthetic corticosteroid, has an anti-allergic and anti-pyretic action which rapidly decreases
inflammation, oedema and pruritus. Mepyramine maleate is used in the treatment of allergic conditions.
Undecylenic acid has a fungistatic action and particularly acts on microspores. Zinc oxide has a protecting, slightly astringent and weak
antiseptic action and is very suitable for treatment of surface wounds. Pruritex emulsion does not irritate, is absorbed quickly and does
not cause hair to tangle and stick together.
Indications:
Topical treatment of a variety of skin conditions like: dermatitis, skin conditions due to allergy, eczematous skin conditions and
dermatitis with secondary infections.
