| Composition: Each gram of emulsion contains: 5 mg lindane 200 mg benzylbenzoate 3 mg p-chloro-m-xylenol 1 mg prednisolone acetate Action: Polydermatine applied to the skin has anti-allergic, antipyretic, insecticide, itch and pain relieving actions. Polydermatine is absorbed rapidly. The emulsion can also be applied to hairy parts of the body without difficulty. Most eczema spots dry fast and even in case of scabious eczema new epithelium is formed. The addition of lindane prevents contact poisoning by flies. Indications: -General : eczema (with or without secondary infections of bacteria or fungi), allergenic and parasitic eczema, dermatitis with secondary infection and dermatomycosis. -Horsesq : allergies, eczema of the tail, prevention from rubbing. -Dogs : Otitis (also of parasitic nature like mites) and back or tail eczemas and footrot. Contra-indications: Very young and sick animals and use in cats (lindane !). Administration/dosage: After cleaning, rub sparingly into affected areas once or twice daily. In the case of clear improvement, apply once every two days (do not discontinue too soon, because residues may be left). For otitis, leave a cotton bud with emulsion in the ear for 1 hour after having removed the ear-wax (to be repeated). To combat ectoparasites of dogs, as well as lice and fleas, sprinkle a little Polydermatine on the skin and rub it in. Attention: Toxic ! Keep away from eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from food and drinks. After application, wash hands thoroughly. Conservation: At room temperature (15-25°C), protected from light. Presentation: Squeeze bottles of 100 g. |
