  Composition:
Each tablet contains:
10 mg acepromazine (as maleate)
Action:
Acepromazine is a derivative of Phenothiazine and is a very powerful tranquillizer and neuroleptic.
It possesses anti-emetic, anti-convulsant, hypothermic, hypotensive, anti-spasmodic and analgesic properties.
Indications:
Tranquillization, conditions of fear; examination and anaesthetic pre-medication; travel sickness.
Administration/dosage:
Orally: 1-2 mg acepromazine per kg body weight (twice daily);
duration of the medication is dependent of the indication.
Contra-Indications:
Hypotension; hypothermia; anaemia.
Conservation:
At room temperature (15-25°C) and protected from light.
