Amoxycillin 50 mg

Composition:
Each tablet contains:
50 mg amoxycillin base (as trihydrate)
Action:
Amoxycillin is a semi-synthetic benzylpenicillin active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative germs. Amoxycillin is recommended for
oral administration because of its resistance to acidic conditions and good resorption from the stomach and the intestines.
Indications:
Gastro-intestinal infections (prevention and treatment), e.g. E. coli, Clostridium perfringens, Salmonella; infections of the respiratory and
urinary systems, of the uterus; secondary infections in case of viral infections, septicemia, polyarthritis.
Administration/dosage:
Orally:
Cats and Dogs: 5-10 mg amoxycillin per kg b.w., twice daily, during minimal 5 days.
Contra-Indications:
Hypersensitivity to benzylpenicillins.
Do not use in rodents.
Conservation:
At room temperature (15-25°C), dry and protected from light.
