Albendazole 250 mg bolus

Composition:
Each contains:
250 mg albendazole
Action:
Broad spectrum dewormer, active against stomach roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms in cattle, sheep and goats. Also active
against eggs of roundworms and liver flukes (but not immature liver flukes).
Sensitive are a.o. Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Capillaria, Strongyloides, Dictyocaulus viviparus,
Oesophagostomum, Moniezia, Syngamus trachea. Adult stages and eggs of Fasciola hepatica.
Administration/dosage:
Orally:
-Cattle and camels: 3 es per 100 kg b.w. (4 es if used against liver flukes)
-Sheep and goats : 1/2 per 25 kg b.w. (1/2 per 15 kg b.w. if used against liver flukes).
Warning:
Do not use in case of acute fascioliasis.
Do not overdose in the beginning of pregnancy.
Advised withdrawal times:
Meat : 14 days.
Milk : 3 days.
